25 - Original Kipper          25 - Trust

Original Title = Coming to high Honors.  (Zu hohen Ehren kommen.)

Imagery = The chateau of a respected nobleman looms paternally on a hill above a lowly hovel.

This card represents an acknowledgement of trust.
This card is the opposite of card 33; and exudes a Positive tone.

This card describes RESPECT, and can be judged as a greater form of card 17. In a Spread it indicates that the associated party is trustworthy or can be believed.

Traditionally this card could suggest that the other party was currently deferential (so thus the outcome from your current course of action had promise).

Historically the nobility as a whole were respected for their knowledge and trustworthiness. The new label of Trust is a better title for contemporary understanding, as it downplays the associated pomp and instead makes reference to the overarching concept of confidence.

|| In the past this card was often titled "High Honors", and indicated meriting reverence. Alternatively it could also have indicated major recognition. ||
